Glowing in the aftermath of a successful 2010 programme, the Into Africa team say that the month long event was “like team-building in motion”. “It was so amazing to feel part of such a huge event” says Frances.
The positive impact of the tournament, which has been labeled an out and out success by media across the globe, has pushed South Africa to a new level and the Into Africa team with it!
The team was responsible for back-to-back programmes hosted by a multinational “Fast Moving Consumer Goods” company. The programmes were run in 5 centers simultaneously and the team had to deal with some “heavy traffic” as large groups rolled through.
A highlight was the tented Camp which was custom built for the event in the Cradle of Humankind outside of Johannesburg. The informal atmosphere of the camp was a good match for the supporters who celebrated their wins robustly and cajoled fellow campers from opposition teams. The recreation area - where games were played and matches watched on wide-screen TV’s - was busy. The atmosphere was electric!
The Into Africa team is now closer and stronger than ever – ready for “Africa Time”!
