Conservation Corporation Africa (Pty) Ltd (CC Africa) is a third shareholder in the business. The relationship we enjoy with CC Africa is important on many levels, notably CC Africa's presence in East Africa which allows us to offer our services in this region as well as Southern Africa.

Social Responsibility: Township KindergartenSocial Responsibility

We are delighted to see the growing awareness of corporate social responsibility (CSR) within the clients we work with. The circumstances under which much of the population of Africa live, mean that there are some very real and valuable projects to invest in from a CSR perspective. The positive feedback we have and the demand we are seeing for township visits and interaction with rural communities demonstrates the need for CSR involvement. We have been fortunate enough to have been involved in and to have facilitated many projects. These have varied from the building of houses and schoolrooms to the construction of soccer facilities and even taking a township choir on tour to Germany.

The strong relationship which CC Africa has with the Africa Foundation and their commitment to eco-tourism is a philosophy we like to follow. Where possible, we work with the Africa Foundation as a partner on CSR projects in the rural communities surrounding the CC Africa lodges
